The Gurukul Panchkula’s U-17 Boys Cricket Team registered a smashing victory in the Finals of the Edmund Rice Cricket Tournament organized by St. John School, Chandigarh and lifted the coveted trophy. The prestigious annual tournament sees the best of cricketing talent from across the best schools of the tricity vying for the trophy.
The Gurukul boys beat Guru Nanak Public School, Sec 36, Chandigarh by 101 runs in the Final Match. Anubhav Kaushik, hitting 104 runs in just 57 balls including 8 sixes. He was declared the Man of the Match.The Gurukul’s outstanding performance throughout the tournament fetched Sushim the title of Man of the Series, while Anubhav Kaushik bagged the title of the Best Batsman and Deepansh was declared the Best Bowler of the tournament.
